The Tesla Model Y may not be a sporty-looking EV but it packs some pretty serious performance. To highlight this, German tuner Irmscher, typically known for its Opel offerings, has presented a series of visual upgrades that ensure the Model Y won’t go unnoticed.
The bold exterior shades and bodykit design previewed in Irmscher’s renderings are likely to appeal to fans of the Fast and Furious franchise. One of the standout features of the kit is the fake grille with a spider web pattern, which the tuner calls an “indicated air intake”. However, despite the design, it is fully blocked and serves no functional purpose.

The ground effects kit that includes aerodynamic bumper extensions, side skirts, and a rear diffuser make the Model Y look more like a Model 3 in terms of ground clearance. There’s also a new set of 20-inch “Heli Star” wheels in black or diamond polished finish that will add some extra flair to your Model Y while a larger rear spoiler on the tailgate adds a finishing touch. For owners looking to personalize their Model Y further, the tuner offers a dual-tone color treatment, with black paint on the bonnet and roof, as well as black Irmscher decals along the profile.
Irmscher’s offerings aren’t limited to the exterior of the Model Y, as it also provides a range of interior upgrades such as stainless steel door sills, velour carpets, and custom leather upholstery for the seats. However, those looking to further boost performance should look elsewhere, as the electric powertrain remains unchanged, meaning no additional speed compared to the stock model.
As of now, Irmscher hasn’t disclosed pricing for the Tesla Model Y upgrade package. However, those who are interested in getting their hands on the kit can contact the tuner to place an order. It’s worth noting that other tuners like Novitec, Adro, and Delta4x4 have already started offering upgrades for the electric SUV.
