Between figuring out the new federal rules, factoring in state incentives, and finding all of the other rebates are available for new-energy vehicles, buying an EV can feel like a full time job. But Toyota has partnered with EV Life to help make the process easier for new car buyers.
“We’re excited to collaborate with EV Life to offer Toyota customers a simple tool to navigate the process of finding available incentives on the purchase of a new Toyota [electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles],” said Michael Moore, the general manager of Toyota vehicle marketing. “The Toyota EV Incentive Finder tool is simple to use and aids customers in making an informed decision on which vehicle is best for them.”
The feature will be available on the computer, on smart devices, or at a Toyota dealership, and will sort through the more than 470 tax credits, rebates, and more that are available to American EV buyers. The tool will even help buyers find other benefits, like HOV carpool decals and toll discounts.

The Toyota EV Incentive Finder is powered by EV Life, and allows customers to enter their unique data for a personalized quote. The tool uses their location, household size, income, tax filing details, electric utility, and more to generate an estimate of potential incentive packages available for a given vehicle.
“Government incentives are not a simple Google search away,” said Kevin Favro, EV Life co-founder and head of product. “They require countless hours of research on complex rules across multiple government websites. We’re excited to empower Toyota customers to generate a personalized list of their maximum incentives, in seconds.”
The tool is available now, and will also provide buyers with information about potential fuel savings, and emissions reductions they can expect with their new vehicle. Toyota customers can access the EV Incentive Finder function through the bZ4X, Prius Prime, and RAV4 Prime web pages.
