The McLaren Elva is a rare bird, but that hasn’t stopped Novitec from launching a tuning program for the exclusive supercar.
Performance is front and center as the company offers a plug and play N-Tronic module, which “upgrades the electronic engine control system” by providing “special maps for injection and ignition” as well as changes to electronic boost pressure control.
While the standard Elva has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 804 hp (600 kW / 815 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, the module upgrades that to 860 hp (641 kW / 872 PS) and 637 lb-ft (864 Nm).

Customers looking for more power can opt for the Stage 2 package, which also includes exhaust tweaks. This increases the output to 906 hp (676 kW / 919 PS) and 662 lb-ft (898 Nm) of torque, which enables the model to rocket from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 205 mph (330 km/h).
Additional changes are limited, but Novitec offers sport springs that lower the ride height by 0.8 inches (20 mm). Besides giving the car a more aggressive stance, the company says the reduced center of gravity makes the “handling even more dynamic.”
Speaking of which, Novitec teamed up with Vossen to offer 20- and 21-inch forged wheels that are available in 72 different colors. Customers can also choose between brushed or polished options.
Last but not least, the company can tailor the interior to the “owner’s wishes in every detail.”
