We love the new-age Ford Bronco as much as anyone but this particular 1974 Bronco restomod, heading to auction in late March, is even more remarkable.
The stunning restomod will be auctioned off by Mecum and is the beneficiary of a two-year comprehensive frame-off rotisserie restoration. The exterior of the Bronco immediately stands out from a stock example thanks to the Grabber Blue and White exterior paint scheme which, to our eyes, suits it absolutely perfectly.
In addition, the Ford has been equipped with Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners, a 3-inch suspension lift, Bilstein shocks, Method alloy wheels and sits on BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A 35×12.5-inch tires. While the future owner of the Bronco may be hesitant to take it off-roading given how immaculate it is, it has all the right ingredients to be very capable when the going gets tough.

As with any good restomod, the powertrain is all-new and incorporates a 5.0-liter Ford Racing naturally-aspirated V8 engine that works alongside a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission. A two-speed twin-stick transfer case is also featured as is a Dana 44 front axle.
The interior is just as gorgeous as the exterior. Plush leather adorns the seats while large parts of the dashboard and door panels are painted in the same shade of Grabber Blue as the exterior. An aftermarket Ididit tilt steering wheel is also featured as is a Dakota Digital VH gauge cluster and a Vintage Air climate control system. A new audio system is also present.
Mecum Auctions hasn’t released a pre-auction estimate for the Bronco but it will likely sell for much more than a new one off the showroom floor.
