Soon after Porsche unveiled the heavily-updated interior of the 2024 Cayenne, a pair of images have surfaced online that seem to preview the exterior design of the facelifted SUV.

These photos that were shared to Instagram by Cochespias1 and Wilcoblok appear to have been snapped from the updated infotainment system of the 2024 Cayenne. They show a detailed computer-generated image of the SUV and while it’s not quite as compelling as seeing it out on the road without camouflage, we do get an unimpeded (albeit low-resolution) look at the updated exterior design.

The revised front fascia immediately catches your attention. Porsche has overhauled the headlights, designing units with a slightly more squared shape and complete with four horizontal LED daytime running lights incorporated into them. The design of these headlights has necessitated a new hood being installed as well.

Porsche’s designers have also changed the front grille and air intakes, making them slightly larger and installing each with two bars running horizontally.

Alterations continue at the rear but aren’t quite as pronounced. The most compelling change is the fitment of a new LED light bar that stretches the width of the SUV. While the pre-facelift Cayenne also had a light bar, it had slightly chunkier taillights. The taillights of the 2024 Cayenne are incorporated into the light bar, just like the all-electric Taycan.

For as intriguing as the exterior styling changes are, it is the cabin of the 2024 Cayenne that benefits from more significant changes. Key upgrades include a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a new 12.3-inch infotainment display, and an optional 10.9-inch passenger display that’s neatly incorporated into the dashboard. Porsche has also transformed the shape of the center console thanks to the relocation of the gear selector to the steering wheel.

Porsche will unveil the 2024 Cayenne on April 18 at the Shanghai Auto Show, so be sure to stay tuned to CarScoops to see and learn more about it as additional information is released.
