Few would deny that the refreshed Peugeot 508 sedan and 508 SW wagon are both very attractive-looking cars. However, this rendering shows that a Coupe variant could look even better.
This attractive rendering comes courtesy of X-Tomi Design and shows the new Peugeot 508 as a two-door but with the same overall proportions as the four-door sedan.
Altering the sedan simply necessitated the lengthening of the front doors and windows and the shrinking of the second-row side windows. X-Tomi Design has also dropped the car’s ride height by a few millimeters and while only a subtle change, it makes the car look even better.

In updating the 508 sedan and SW wagon for the 2024 model year, Peugeot has overhauled the front fascia and made a series of other modifications to the car’s exterior. Key changes visible at the front include the presence of three new vertical LED daytime running lights on either side. Peugeot’s designers have also changed the front grille so it is now larger than before and is more neatly incorporated into the rest of the front fascia.
The new Peugeot 508 is available with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder producing 128 hp in the base-specification models while a 1.5-liter diesel also with 128 hp is available. A trio of plug-in hybrid powertrains is also offered with the flagship powertrain reserved for the 508 PSE model. This consists of a 197 hp 1.6-liter inline-four with a 109 hp electric motor up front and an 11 hp electric motor at the rear wheels, resulting in a combined 355 hp.
It’s very unlikely that Peugeot will build a 508 Coupe but it’s nice to dream, isn’t it?
