Chick-Fil-A is well-known for its surprisingly fast and pleasant drive-thru experience. That wasn’t the case on Monday at about 10 a.m. for one truck driver though. They ended up flipped over after another car allegedly ran a stop sign, hit them, and then mounted a fence like it’s Dodge Caliber mating season.
The incident took place in Florence, South Carolina, about 65 miles north of Myrtle Beach. There, a spokesperson for the police department, Captain Mike Brandt, says that the driver of the Caliber was charged with disregarding a stop sign.
Allegedly, the driver hit the stop sign, continued through an intersection, namely Dunbarton Drive and West Radio Drive, hit an embankment, and then struck the truck. At that point, the truck flipped over and the Dodge came to rest on a fence.

The driver of the Caliber went to the hospital but didn’t sustain life-threatening injuries. A passenger from the same vehicle had to be pulled out of the wreckage says local news station WPDE.
From what we can tell, the truck in question is a Chevrolet Silverado. As of yet, we haven’t found any video of the actual incident but it must have taken great force to tip the pickup up and over onto its roof.
The truck driver managed to walk away without serious injury which says a lot about modern vehicles and safety too. We just hope they managed to get into the building and get their order before breakfast was over at 10:30 a.m. We’ll update this story if we learn more about the situation.
