Prior to discontinuing the F8 Tributo coupe after the introduction of the hybrid 296 GTB, Ferrari produced a single unit of the supercar for the 2023 model year.
A company spokesperson recently informed Car and Driver that while production of the F8 Spider continues, it killed off the F8 Tributo Coupe after it stopped accepting orders in March last year. The sole 2023 example was built for Ferrari North America but it’s unclear if it resides in the United States, Canada, or Latin America.

The magnitude of someone owning the sole 2023 Ferrari F8 Tributo cannot be understated. Ferrari never formally referred to the hybrid 296 GTB as the successor to the F8 and technically, it’s not and instead pushes into an entirely new performance bracket. However, the arrival of the 296 GTB did make the F8 feel a little outdated and underpowered, even thought it does cost $40,000 more.
Making the F8 Tributo special is the fact that it has a V8 as opposed to the V6 hybrid of the 296 GTB. That means the individual that owns the only 2023 F8 Tributo Coupe has the last V8-powered, mid-engined, rear-wheel drive Coupe that the car manufacturer will likely ever produce. When you consider that the car’s V8 lineage dates back to the 308 GTB and includes the 328, 348, F355, 360, F430, 458, and 488, owning the final V8 Coupe is certainly special.
Car and Driver says it is unclear if the F8 Tributo Coupe in question just so happened to be built at the start of the 2023 model year or if it was perhaps a 2023MY due to a request by the customer. Whatever the case may be, it could very well be the most valuable F8 Tributo on the planet.
