Ford has kicked off the next chapter in its ‘Built Ford Proud’ advertising campaign featuring actor Sydney Sweeney, stunt driver Dee Bryant, and professional surfer Kai Lenny.

Sweeney, Bryant, and Lenny are all Ford fanatics and each have their own stories with the brand. The carmaker says the ‘Built Ford Proud’ campaign “celebrates the greater community of Ford drivers who have broken the mold, driven innovation, and defied stereotypes for nearly 120 years.”

Dee Bryant is the co-founder of the Association of Women Drivers and one of just a handful of African American professional stunt drivers in the entertainment industry. In the first clip from the campaign, she is shown expertly drifting the 2024 Ford Mustang and in a subsequent video will offer viewers an up-close look at the all-electric Mustang Mach-E.

Then there’s Sydney Sweeney. The Emmy Award-nominated actor is best known for her roles in Euphoria and The White Lotus and restored her vintage Ford Bronco while detailing some of the process on her @Syd’s_Garage channel on TikTok. She is also launching a workwear collection with Ford made in partnership with Dickies.

“This campaign is very genuine to me,” Sweeney said. “Through my Auto 101 series and the female-forward workwear collection, I hope to empower and uplift women to pursue their passions, to get involved in the world of cars, and show that anyone can follow their dreams, no matter what they are!”

As mentioned, Kai Lenny is a professional surfer and has had a strong connection with Ford’s pickup trucks ever since he turned pro, using them to transport his team, jet skies, and his retired coast guard boat to various locations around Maui, Hawaii. Ford donated eight colored surfboards to Lenny’s charity, the Positively Kai Foundation, as part of the campaign.
