Ford’s MEB-based crossover will be unveiled in less than two weeks and the company is giving us another glimpse at their upcoming EV.
While the model is covered by a sheet, we can see a fully enclosed grille with a sizable Ford emblem. We can also get a glimpse of a boxy front fascia, which features sharp horizontal lines as well as a wide intake with a central sensor pod.
The teaser isn’t very revealing, but the model will have vertical air curtains, plastic body cladding, and aerodynamically optimized wheels. Interestingly, there are two crossovers in the teaser photo and one of them could be the “medium-size” model, while the other could be the “sport crossover.”

That remains to be seen, but Ford has apparently been teasing two different crossovers over the past few weeks. The models are similar, but have different front bumpers and unique wheel arches. The sport variant could also adopt a more rakish windscreen and a sleeker roof.
Plenty of questions remain, but the models are expected to echo the Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5. This means they could come equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack as well as a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with a combined output of 262 hp (195 kW / 265 PS). The powertrain enables the ID.4 to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds and have a WLTP range of up to 321 miles (517 km).
At least one of the crossovers will be unveiled on March 21st, so stay tuned for full details.
