Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber recently took to Instagram and in a gallery of photos taken during London Fashion Week, shared an intriguing photo of the one-off Porsche 968 L’Art. This immediately prompted speculation that Bieber had added the unique creation to his collection of cars. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
The Porsche 968 L’Art was unveiled in late October 2021 and created through a collaboration between Porsche and Arthur Kar, the man behind Parisian streetwear label L’Art De L’Automobile. It’s one seriously eye-catching car and given that it is a one-off, it wouldn’t be surprising if it was purchased by a wealthy enthusiast looking to own something that no one else has.

The simple fact that Justin Bieber posted a photo of it led to unfounded rumors that he had purchased it. However, L’Art De L’Automobile recently declared on Instagram that the reports were untrue and that the car will never be sold.
“I repeat : We did not sell our 968 and we never will… unfortunately we only produced one 968 L’ART and this car is not for sale. I wish we produced more and made the car available for everyone, i REALLY do wish but unfortunately is not the case. soooooo please stop the GOSSIP,” the post reads.
In a separate comment, Arthur Kar declared that the car will never be sold by him or his family, not “even for millions of euros.” Indeed, Kar recently shared a gallery of him driving the one-off in Los Angeles.
Kar is a lifelong Porsche enthusiast and at the age of 16, started working in a French Porsche center as a mechatronics technician. He later opened his own business where he sold restored vehicles to clients around the world.
