Gran Turismo 7’s free March update is live and features a number of notable cars along with a few other additions. Among them are a pair of amazing Porsches, an Audi RS5 race car, and, of course, a minivan from Toyota. Here’s a full breakdown of what gamers can expect to download when they log in to GT7.
Perhaps the car that will go most overlooked in this update is the Mazda3 X Burgandy Selection from 2019. It’s notable for its wine-colored seats and dashboard. In the game, it’ll be available with eight different paint colors. Everything else included in update 1.31 feels a bit more interesting.
First, the pair of Porsches coming to the game are the 1964 Carrera GTS (904) and the 1987 Porsche 959. The former features a 1966cc twin overhead-cam flat-four air-cooled engine with 180 hp (134 kW). The latter is one of the most famous supercars ever built and largely ushered in the era of digitizing the driving experience.

Then there’s the Audi RS5 Turbo TM Racecar from the 2019 season. It makes 640 hp and managed to pick up both a driver’s championship and a constructors championship during its first and second racing seasons. It’ll set players back a cool 1,000,000 credits.
The last new car added to the game is the 2018 Toyota Alphard Executive Lounge. Despite being a minivan and having a face that only a mother could love, it’s probably more track friendly than one would give it credit for. It makes 296 hp (221 kW) and uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and a more rigid chassis than in previous generations.
Finally, GT7 is getting two new layouts for the Nurburgring including an Endurance circuit with 85 turns over a total of 14.82 miles. The other layout is called the Sprint and it incorporates 12 turns into 2.25 miles worth of track. Polyphony Digital says it should be perfect for lower-speed road cars.
A new Scapes location joins the fray too. It’s called Cherry Blossoms and its real-world location is in the southernmost part of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, Japan. We wonder how good a minivan will look there.
