Tom Brady has joined the Singer Group and Hertz, in sponsoring the fourth Porsche 963 that will compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race this summer. The outfit will compete in the top class of the event for an overall win.
The car will be prepared and raced by the newly minted Hertz Team JOTA, which will now grow beyond the LMP2 category to race as a Porsche customer team in the hypercar class. The team will be led by Dieter Gass, who was the head of motorsport at Audi between 2017 and 2020, so he has plenty of experience in the race’s top class.
Hertz Team JOTA’s “Mighty 38” Porsche 963 will be driven, meanwhile, by António Félix da Costa, Will Stevens, and Yifei Ye, all of whom have experience competing at the legendary 24-hour race in France.

The car will wear a gold and white racing livery that was designed by Singer, and is said to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
“We’ve always been inspired by motorsport at Singer so, in the centenary year of the Le Mans 24 Hours, this golden livery celebrates all those who have competed at the highest levels of endurance racing, Hertz Team JOTA’s first campaign in the World Endurance Championship, and the Porsche 963’s role in driving the development of renewable fuels and hybrid technology,” said Rob Dickinson, Singer’s design director and founder. “Spending time with this fabulous racing car gives us so much inspiration and learning. We can’t wait for the first race.”
Tom Brady, meanwhile, says he has long been a fan of motor racing, and chose to sponsor the Hertz Team JOTA Porsche 963 through his apparel brand, BRADY. The company will provide the team with travel, leisure, and work clothing from its new product range.
“I have been a big fan of motor racing for a long time, and for BRADY to now be a part of Hertz Team JOTA as the future of motorsport apparel and design is an incredibly exciting opportunity,” said the seven-time Super Bowl winner. “We’re all looking forward to competing at the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours later this year.”
Hertz Team JOTA will make its racing debut at the 1000 Miles of Sebring, the first round of the World Endurance Championship, on March 17. It will compete in six other races over the course of the WEC season, at racetracks around the world, including Le Mans, which runs from June 10 to 11 this year.
