Pagani may only be building five examples of the Huayra Codalunga, each valued at over $7.3 million, but not even the car’s rarity nor its value prevented the owner of one particular example from driving it around an ice track as part of The ICE St. Moritz a few days ago.
The ICE St. Moritz, also known as the International Concours of Elegance, has become a highlight of the European car event calendar in recent years and routinely attracts a wide variety of classics and modern-day performance machines that are displayed and also driven on the ice track. Few turned as many heads this year as the Huayra Codalunga.
This particular Huayra Codalunga appears to be the first of the five units that Pagani unveiled in the middle of last year. It is painted in a stunning shade of matte blue while sitting on a set of unique six-spoke wheels with a gold finish. Popular car YouTuber Varryx attended the event and was able to film the car in action.

Taking to the ice track, the driver of the Pagani was more than happy to get a little sideways in the multi-million dollar hypercar. However, all of the driving around the ice track was performed at very slow speeds so even if something did go wrong, the Huayra probably wouldn’t have been damaged.
Compared to a standard Huayra, the Codalunga is 14 inches (36 cm) longer yet weighs just 1,280 kg (2,822 lbs). Pagani took inspiration from the long-tail vehicles that raced at Le Mans during the 1960s when designing the Codalunga, making it longer and smoother than the regular car.
Found beneath the sexy new skin is the Huayra’s familiar 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 that in this application delivers 840 hp and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque.
