The Togg T10X, developed and built exclusively in Turkey, has been priced from 953,000 Turkish Liras (~$50,200) as pre-orders commence on March 16.
The SUV, which the carmaker refers to as a ‘smart device’, has been approximately five years in the making and Togg plans to build 20,000 units this year. Those who place a pre-order between March 16 and 25 and who pay 60,000 liras (~$3,200) will enter a lottery to decide who the first 20,000 owners will be. The flagship variant will start at 1.215 million liras (~$64,000).
Initially, Togg will sell the T10X with a single, rear-mounted electric motor delivering 218 hp, 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque and the option between two battery packs offering up 314 km (195 miles) and 523 km (325 miles) of range respectively. It is this variant that will start to reach the hands of customers at the end of this month. It can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.4 seconds.

Those willing to spend a little more on the EV and wait until deliveries commence on October 29 can opt for the flagship model. It features a pair of electric motors that combine to produce 435 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), allowing it to jump off the line and hit 62 mph in 4.8 seconds.
Togg says that by plugging into one of its Trugo charging stations, owners will be able to top up the battery from 20% to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes.
“From day one, we set out to create a globally competitive mobility technology brand whose intellectual property is 100 percent owned by Togg, Türkiye, and to create an ecosystem around our smart device and digital products that are accessible to everyone and can be developed by everyone by putting the user at the center,” Togg chief executive Gürcan Karakaş said in a statement. “Over the past five years, we have been progressing step by step with our plans and, as promised, we are bringing our smart device to users in March.”
