A large number of Tesla owners gathered last weekend in a New Jersey parking lot in order to celebrate the recent win of the “Naatu Naatu” song at the Oscars. Around 100 Tesla EVs performed a synchronized light show in the rhythm of the Indian song, with the clip going viral on social media.
The video was uploaded on Twitter by the official account of the Indian film RRR which features the Naatu Naatu song. In a few days, it has gathered almost 10 million views, prompting Elon Musk to reply with two heart emojis.

The Tesla light show was impressive, to say the least, with the parked vehicles lighting up the area similar to fireworks. Tesla owners can install their own custom light show patterns syncing them with various songs, which is how the multi-car show was made possible.
Naatu Naatu by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj made history as the first song in Telugu language to be nominated at the ceremony, helping RRR to become the first Indian film to ever win an Oscar. Notably, it managed to prevail in the best original song category against strong rivals like Lady Gaga’s Hold My Hand (Top Gun) and Rihana’s Lift Me Up (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever).
The choreography performed by actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the film and receiving a standing ovation at the Oscars went viral on social media with many people – including celebrities and Teslas – trying their best to replicate it.
