The all-new Lamborghini Revuelto might be the talk of the town, but there’s another Italian hypercar that was unveiled a few months ago – the Pagani Utopia. The latest project of Horacio Pagani appeared in a new official video which was filmed in the historic city of Mantova in northern Italy.
Pagani chose a dark-themed example of the Utopia for the video. The sculpted bodywork is painted in a shiny black shade with visible carbon fiber weaves. The forged wheels are finished in gold, contrasting the carbon-fiber turbine-shaped extractor rings. The result is the most stealthy-looking Utopia we have seen, and would be a fitting ride for Bruce Wayne in an alternate universe.

As noted by a few commenters on YouTube, the cityscape you see in the footage belongs to Mantova (Mantua), a city located in the Lombardy region of Italy. According to Wikipedia, the centro storico of Mantova has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, for preserving its architectural treasures. The scenery is perfect for the sinuous lines of the Pagani, which looks right at home in the front yard of a medieval palace.
The Pagani Utopia debuted in September 2022 as the next chapter in the Zonda and Huayra bloodline. Unlike some of its rivals, it remains an ICE-only affair, with the AMG-sourced twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 producing 852 hp (627 kW / 864 PS) and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque without any sort of electrification. Power is transmitted to the rear axle, with buyers having the option between a manual or an automatic transmission.
Despite coming with a hefty price tag of around $2.5 million, all 99 examples of the Pagani Utopia have been spoken for. Hopefully, we will be seeing more of those on the streets, so we can admire the different personalization options for each lucky owner.
