The Tesla Model 3 has become the quintessential electric vehicle since it hit the market but for as impressive as it is, many consumers still remain unconvinced of its durability. This video may help reassure them that the Model 3 is up for most tasks, no matter how extreme they may be.

Popular YouTuber WhistlinDiesel recently got his hands on a white Tesla Model 3 and set about seeing just how strong it is. As we’ve come to expect from the social media star, he was not at all worried about damaging the Tesla and ultimately ends up destroying it, just for the heck of it.

Initially, WhistlinDiesel has some fun in the Tesla in a parking lot, fitting it with a wheel and tire lock and then proceeding to pull out onto the road with the lock still attached. Driving wheel a wheel lock obviously isn’t a good idea but it does eventually break off and the Model 3 is able to continue on its merry way.

The really crazy things start in the second half of the video when the EV is fitted with custom-built, 115-inch steel wheels that sit 10-feet tall and were inspired by the wheels of an RC car. Indeed, these wheels were fitted so the car would technically be able to be driven upside down.

To make this possible, a large truck is used to hoist the Model 3 into the air and carefully suspends it upside down. While doing this with a combustion car would cause all kinds of mechanical issues, the Tesla actually manages to drive upside down without issue, making for a truly bizarre sight.
