Despite having only been unveiled late last night, and not coming to dealers until next year, Lincoln has already decided to open up the configurator for the new 2024 Nautilus. A tech showpiece for the brand that wants to be taken as a serious competitor in the premium segment, it will have an MSRP to match those aspirations.

Pricing for the new luxury crossover that will be imported from China will start at $51,810 (including $1,395 destination charge) for the base Premiere trim. That’s a $5,590 premium over the 2023 model. Naturally, it also comes with a quite a bit more tech and standard AWD, so there is justification for the increase.

The Nautilus Reserve, meanwhile, starts at $56,145, and the Black Label starts at $75,860. With all options selected, including the $1,500 hybrid powertrain, the $2,000 Chroma Caviar Dark Gray Metallic paint, and the $3,000 Jet Appearance Package, the configurator shows that the price rises to $83,580.

For that, buyers could also order a 2023 Lincoln Aviator, or the full-size Navigator. That is undeniably a lot of money, but it also comes with a new suite of technology, including a massive dash-wide screen that provides both the driver and the passenger with important information.

The 2024 Nautilus also comes with 22-inch wheels, a 28-speaker sound system, and BlueCruise 1.2. The highly rated advanced driver assistance system allows the vehicle to take over some driving duties, such as maintaining speed and remaining in a lane. Version 1.2 can also change lanes, if the driver requests it by using the signal stalk.

At launch, the new Nautilus will be offered with two powertrains. Both are based on a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, and the first makes 250 hp (186 kW/253 PS) and 275 lb-ft (373 Nm) of torque. The second adds an electric motor to create a hybrid powertrain that makes a total of 310 hp (231 kW/314 PS). Lincoln is rumored to be adding an all-electric alternative to the lineup in 2025, and it will be interesting to note if the price rises any further.

Lincoln said that the 2024 Nautilus will start arriving in dealer showrooms in early 2024. More details, such as fuel economy ratings, will be provided at a later date.
