Normally the vehicles we see upgraded and improved by Inkas are all-new models but for its latest project, the company has worked its magic on an off-roader that’s been in production since 1984. Yep, we’re talking about the 70-series Toyota Land Cruiser, now known as the 76-series.

This classic version of the Land Cruiser is beloved for its off-roading abilities and this particular example is more impressive than most. For starters, the exterior has been upgraded for an armor rating of BR6, meaning it can withstand high-power rifle ammunition as well as the simultaneous detonation of two hand grenades below the vehicle floor.

Ensuring that occupants are safe was just one part of Inkas’s goals with this Land Cruiser. They have also set out to improve its off-roading abilities, fitting upgraded heavy-duty suspension, a powered winch, a skid plate that doubles as a blast protection shield, heavy-duty hinges, reinforced doors, and an aluminum roof rack.

Inkas Has Created The Ultimate 70-Series Toyota Land Cruiser If You Have Enemies With Guns

Inkas refers to its Land Cruiser 76-series package as the ‘Expedition Spec’ and while we don’t know the cost of the upgrades, we suspect they’ll be out of the budget of many Land Cruiser owners.

The 70-series generation of the Toyota Land Cruiser is one of those vehicles that simply refuses to die. It was introduced as a replacement to the iconic 40 Series back in 1984 and retains the Land Cruiser’s rugged and back-to-basics design whereas subsequent versions became increasingly luxurious.
