The design of the BMW i8 has always turned heads but this particular i8 is more eye-catching than most, thanks to a series of modifications from Liberty Walk.
No matter how dramatic the styling of a car may be from the factory, you can rest assured that Liberty Walk will work out a way to make it even crazier. In this case, the famous Japanese tuning company has modified almost every single body panel of the hybrid sports car.
Things start at the front end where Liberty Walk has fitted a new bumper with a more striking splitter and affixed a pair of canards. It has also equipped the BMW with a naked carbon fiber hood and a set of flared wheel arches at the front end.

Alterations continue along the sides of the i8 where you will notice the extended skirts and the flared rear wheel arches, further adding to the car’s aggressive looks. Liberty Walk has also equipped it with a set of black wheels from Forgiato wrapped in Yokohama Advan tires at all four corners.
The rear of the car is even more dramatic than the front. The highlight is the chassis-mounted rear wing that stretches high above the decklid and has large uprights and end plates. A new diffuser has also been fitted.
To complete the wild transformation, Liberty Walk wrapped the sports car in a bright shade of pink and fitted its customary air suspension system, allowing for the ride height to be dropped significantly at the flick of a switch.
No changes have been made to the car’s powertrain. That means it continues to rock a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine coupled to an electric motor to deliver a combined 369 hp.
