Lucid is giving the Air a more sinister look with the new “Stealth Appearance” package, deliveries of which started today. The package adds blackened brightwork, to give the all-electric sedan a darker personality.
For the package, Lucid changed the appearance of as many as 35 exterior trim pieces. The most evident alteration affects the frame of the glass canopy roof, but the changes continue on the lower body trim, as well as around the headlights, the taillight, and more.
These receive what the automaker describes as a “Stealth polish finish,” which replaces the shinier platinum finish, and is inspired by speculaire black polishing technique used in fine watchmaking.

In addition, the Stealth Appearance package comes with two unique wheel designs. They are the 21-inch Aero Sport Stealth Wheels with satin black wheel inserts and the 20-inch Aero Lite Stealth wheels with satin black wheel inserts.
“The highly-anticipated Stealth Appearance will delight those who prefer a darker, more enigmatic look to Lucid Air,” said Derek Jenkins, SVP of Design and Brand, Lucid Group. “Side by side, Stealth and Platinum are like seeing two altogether different vehicles, two facets of the Air personality.”
The Stealth Appearance package is only available on the Air Grand Touring and the Air Touring. For the Air Touring with the metal roof, the package adds $3,000 ($4,000 CAD) to the price of the car, while it adds $6,000 ($7,500 CAD) to the price of the Air Grand Touring with the glass canopy roof.
The package can be matched a number of exterior paint colors, including Stellar White, Infinite Black, Cosmos Silver, Quantum Grey, and Zenith Red. The first deliveries of the new package occurred at Lucid’s Costa Mesa, California service center, with more coming to the rest of the nation in due time.
