Roush Performance produces some of the finest aftermarket upgrades for the Ford Mustang and has just released a package perfectly catered to those Mustang owners who want to head to the track.

The kit, simply known as the 2023 TrakPak, comes with Roush-calibrated MagneRide active suspension that promises to have a transformative effect on how the pony car handles. Complementing the new suspension are 20-inch wheels finished in either Gloss Black or Palladium Gray and wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires to deliver extraordinary levels of traction, something that the Mustang desperately needs.

Roush’s new TrakPak also includes an active exhaust system with an electronically controlled valve that can be operated with a console-mounted selector dial in the cabin. Drivers can choose between touring, sport, track, and custom exhaust modes. This new system also includes four black-tipped tailpipes and iOS users can tweak the sound profile with a smartphone app.

Roush’s New TrakPak Upgrade Makes Ford Mustang Even More Fun And Capable

Some visual and aerodynamic alterations have also been made. For example, the TrakPak adds a more pronounced front splitter and high-flow corner pockets to aid in cooling. The car also gets new hood and fender heat extractors, a unique rear spoiler, and rear shrouds. Rounding out the exterior changes are new puddle lamps and Roush badging.

Inside, there is newly-appointed black or Amaretto Brown leather, TrakPak badging, and a Roush shift knob for cars fitted with the six-speed manual transmission.

The kit probably won’t be right for Mustang owners on a budget. In fact, it starts at $20,150 but fortunately, it does come with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty.

“The 2023 TrakPak is a celebration of over 25 years of performance engineering,” Jack Roush Jr. described. “We’re enthusiasts first, so we wanted to blend top-of-the-line performance modifications with a hint of luxury to create the perfect track machine. I own one myself and can tell you firsthand that we accomplished what we set out to do. I’m very excited to add the TrakPak to our 2023 flagship lineup.”
