Few cars get the juices flowing of supercar enthusiasts quite like a limited-edition Lamborghini and of the multitude of rare models built by the Italian marque over the decades, the Reventon is one of the most memorable.
Launched under the watchful eye of Stephan Winkelmann during his first tenure as Lamborghini’s chief executive, the Reventon shares its underpinnings with the Murcielago LP640 but you’d be hard-pressed to tell given its unique styling. Just 20 examples of the Coupe were ever built before Lamborghini went on to manufacture 15 Roadsters. One of these Coupe models is now up for sale on Bring a Trailer.
This particular example once resided in Canada before it was purchased by the seller earlier this year and imported into the United States. As with all other examples of the Reventon Coupe built, the supercar is finished in a unique shade dubbed Grigio Reventon and sits on 18-inch wheels with carbon fiber winglets. It has been driven just 457 miles (735 km).

Lamborghini’s designers were inspired by the world’s fastest fighter jets when crafting the Reventon, resulting in a body akin to a stealth jet that’s dominated by sharp corners and angled surfaces. Its design went on to influence the Aventador.
Found in the cabin of the car are seats, a headliner, door panels, and a transmission tunnel clad in gray-green Alcantara. Other areas of the supercar are bathed in black leather and a key highlight of the car is the jet-inspired digital instrument cluster.
At the time of writing, bidding on the car had reached $1.4 million. Recent auction results of other Reventon models show that in November last year, an example with just 66 miles (106 km) on the clock sold for €1,748,750 ($1.9 million) in Europe. In August 2022, RM Sotheby’s sold one in the U.S. for $1,952,000 with 900 miles (1,448 km) under its belt.
