Calling all multi-millionaires and billionaires. If you have over $16 million to spend on a new property in Beverly Hills, you could walk away with your choice between four exotics that will be included for free, if you choose this house.
Located at 12945 Mulholland Drive, this stunning property spans 9,500 square feet and has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. According to the listing on Redfin, if it were purchased before April 1, the buyer would be able to choose between receiving either a free Bentley Bentayga EWB, an Aston Martin DBX 707, a McLaren GT, or an Aston Martin Vantage.
While this may simply sound like a generous offer from the property’s developer, there’s actually a very good reason why an expensive freebie is being offered to help entice buyers. From April 1, homes sold in Los Angeles for over $5 million will be subject to a new 4% transfer tax while those sold for over $10 million will be hit with a 5.5% tax which must be paid by the seller.
