The Shanghai Auto Show has dominated headlines this week, but we’re now turning our attention to Brazil as Stellantis has teased two different models for the country.
The most notable is Ram’s highly anticipated pickup, which could adopt the 1200 or Rampage moniker. The name remains unconfirmed, but the company said the model is designed to be a “watershed for the brand in the region.”
Ram Brazil also released a teaser video, which notes the truck was “made in conjunction” with colleagues in the United States. The company went on to say the model will be a “true Ram” thanks to its combination of “power, capacity, technology and luxury.”

Details are limited, but we can see the truck will have a wide grille with prominent Ram badging. They’ll be joined by stylish headlights that feature wraparound daytime running units. We can also see a sculpted hood, vertical taillights, and a badge indicating the truck will be offered with a turbocharged engine.
While a number of questions remain, the truck will slot above the 700 and 1000, but below the full-size 1500. The model will reportedly ride on the Small Wide 4×4 LWB platform that underpins the Jeep Commander and engine options could be shared with the crossover. If that’s the case, the truck could have a turbocharged 1.3-liter engine with 182 hp (136 kW / 185 PS) and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) of torque. The model may also be offered with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel developing 168 hp (125 kW / 170 PS) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque.
We can expect to learn more about the truck in the coming weeks, but Ram is calling it the “biggest launch in the history of the brand in Brazil.”
The Redesigned Citroen C3 Aircross Is Also Gearing Up For Its Debut
Since one teaser is never enough, Citroen also dropped the first picture of the redesigned C3 Aircross. The company was tight-lipped on specifics, but said the model will be introduced soon and will be “developed and produced in South America.”
That’s not much to go on, but the “unprecedented model” features a curvaceous front end with split lighting units and what appears to be gloss black accents.
