GMC has introduced a new special edition of the Hummer EV, called the Omega Edition, which features unique touches and (mainly) colors inspired by Neptune, also known as “the Blue Planet”. The limited production edition is based on the 3X trim and is available in both pickup and SUV body styles.
The standout feature of the GMC Hummer EV Omega Edition is its Neptune Blue Matte exterior color, complemented by black accents. The edition also comes with a set of exclusive 18-inch wheels capable of beadlocking and finished in gloss black with a Carbon Flash ring, which are shod with 35-inch Mud Terrain tires. The SUV’s spare wheel cover features a unique texture that resembles the surface of the Blue Planet.

The new special edition is based on the recently announced 3X trim of the Hummer EV Pickup and SUV models. Along with the unique features of the Omega Edition, the vehicle comes with standard equipment that includes the Extreme Off-road Package (which offers features like Ultravision underbody cameras, skid plates, and rocker panel protection), transparent sky panels, high-lux carpet flooring insert, a pickup-specific MultiPro tailgate audio speaker by Kicker, and an SUV-specific beadlock mounted spare wheel.
The stock tri-motor electric powertrain produces 1,000 hp (746 kW / 1,014 PS) in the pickup, and 830 hp (619 kW/841 PS) in the SUV. The latter is equipped with a standard 20-module battery that offers an estimated range of 298 miles (480 km) as per EPA testing, while the larger 24-module pack in the pickup provides a longer range of 329 miles (529 km).
The GMC Hummer EV Omega Edition is priced at $149,995 for the pickup and $139,995 for the SUV, with first deliveries expected in the first half of 2024. It will initially be available to customers who have already reserved the Hummer EV 3X Pickup and SUV. GMC hasn’t disclosed the exact number of Omega Editions to be produced.
The public debut of the Omega Edition will take place during the Miami Grand Prix weekend at the Hummer House in the Design District. Invited attendees will have the opportunity to experience the Hummer EV’s 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.5 seconds on a closed course.
