The Journey Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram dealer in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada was the victim of a keying incident that would be impressive if it weren’t so expensive. A lone suspect is being sought in connection with damaging as many as 400 vehicles.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police say they are seeking assistance finding the suspect, who they describe as a Caucasian female between the ages of 40 and 50, with shoulder-length blonde hair.
The suspect’s motivations remain unclear at this time, but in a video released by the RCMP, she can be moving from Ram truck to Ram truck using a tool to gouge their paint. They describe her behavior as deliberate.

Authorities say that, over the course of three separate events between January and April 2023, as many as 400 vehicles were damaged, early estimates indicate. In addition to the vehicles, the exterior of one of the dealer’s buildings was also damaged. In all, the RCMP said that more than $500,000 CAD ($369,887 USD at current exchange rates) in damages was done.
Although investigators are following leads, they are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the woman. In photos released by the RCMP, she can be seen wearing a surgical mask, a black toque, and glasses, which may complicate efforts to identify her.
The RCMP also released photos of the vehicle she drove, which they believe is a 2008-2013 Ford Escape. Distortion in the photo makes it hard to tell what vehicle it is specifically, but if you have any ideas, let us know in the comments.
