Aehra is a new name in the luxury EV space, but it’s not short of ambition. Having first revealed a $160,000 SUV that looks more like a supercar than a traditional off-roader, the Italian-American startup has teased its second car, a slinky electric sedan designed to compete with the Porsche Taycan.

None of the four teaser images show the whole car, but they reveal enough to know that the concept the firm will unveil at Milano Monza Motor Show next month is low, voluptuous and will probably make even the Taycan look fairly pedestrian.

The overhead shot shows a car with an almost Aston Martin-like form, and two shots taken from waist height highlight the pronounced curvature of the fenders. We can also see a slim DLR blade below the hood, a small rear spoiler and a tiny Italian flag badge in the D-pillar. Perhaps the coolest visible detail is the biplane door mirror carried over from the SUV, which contains a camera in its end plane.

Comparing the images with those published earlier this year of the company’s SUV shows a strong family resemblance, though the sedan is obviously much lower and its curves more exaggerated. It looks promising and Aehra says those promises won’t be empty ones. What we see here is pretty much what we’ll get when the real production car goes on sale some time before the end of 2026.

“At AEHRA, we do not believe in creating unrepresentative concept cars, so when we unveil the new Sedan at the Milano Monza Moving Motor Show on June 16th, the car will look virtually identical to the final production model that will arrive in 2026,” said Aehra design chief, and former Lamborghini design boss, Filippo Perini.

Like the Aehra SUV, which is scheduled to go on sale in late 2025, the sedan will be built around a skateboard EV platform and feature a body made with composites. And so while Aehra hasn’t confirmed powertrain details for the second model, it’s not a huge leap to imagine they’ll match the SUV’s, or at least be in the same ballpark. That means we can expect a huge 120 kWh battery pack giving a 497-mile (800 km) range and 950-volt electrics for super-fast 350 kW charge speeds.

The other key detail shared with the SUV pictured below will be the name, or lack of one. Aehra is choosing not to give its models specific names – so we guess, as Perini implied, it will be simply called the Aehra Sedan.
