A growing number of aftermarket tuners are releasing upgrade kits for the Chevy C8 Corvette Stingray and this latest package comes courtesy of Larte Design. It isn’t the most dramatic we’ve seen but it is one of the nicest. It also has a cool name; Avatar.
Many of the parts now available from Larte Design are made from lightweight carbon fiber with a glossy finish. These parts start at the front end with an eye-catching new splitter with aerodynamic fins on either side. The tuner has also crafted new fins that sit in front of the air intakes while also developing a bold hood with more dramatic lines than the standard car. Complementing the new hood are carbon fiber faux louvers on the front quarter panels.
Plenty of new parts are also available for the sides of the Corvette. For example, there are new carbon fiber skirts, shrouds for the sports car’s large air intakes, and carbon wing mirror caps. Then there is the rear which adopts some of the finest upgrades.
The highlight of the remodeled rear fascia is the new bumper and diffuser made from carbon fiber. This bumper doesn’t just look great but also repositions the exhausts to the center, much like the C8 Z06. Larte Design has also developed a new carbon fiber shroud that sits around the rear window while also producing a fixed rear wing very similar in design to the High Wing spoiler that Chevrolet itself offers for the car.

Rounding out the upgrades made for the car is a set of 20-inch forged wheels finished in black with a particularly aggressive spoke design.
Larte Design hasn’t publicized pricing for the kit but it’s certainly one of the best ways to make the ‘Vette look that little more like a genuine supercar.
