A new trailer is out for Fast X and it shows Dom reminiscing about the past as well as being afraid about losing the people that he loves.
As with recent entries in the series, the film isn’t about street racers but rather ‘super spies’ and this time they’re fighting a big bad man with a remote control ball. That’s as ridiculous as it sounds, but that ball tries to kill Letty so Dom has to fight Aquaman (Jason Momoa).
There’s an apparent nuclear explosion as well and it wouldn’t be a Fast & Furious trailer without the obligatory family references and dining scene – no matter how tired they are. Dom then drives out of an airplane, because the series has become more XXX than Fast & Furious.

While you can watch the clip yourself, do you care about Fast X or the upcoming Transformers film? They’re completely different, but both franchises started off in the 2000’s and were relatively car-centric.
Despite their seemingly humble beginnings, both have become cinema juggernauts as the Fast saga has raked in over $1.8 (£1.4 / €1.6) billion according to Box Office Mojo. The Transformers series consists of less films, but the modern entries have grossed over $1.5 (£1.2 / €1.4) billion worldwide.
That being said, do you give a hoot? If you couldn’t tell from the intro, I’m cheering for the nuke to take them all out. It’s a similar feeling with Transformers as the first couple were okay, but interest quickly faded.
Do you feel the same? Or are you looking forward to Fast X and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
