Rezvani has just handed over the keys to the new owner of its first Tank Hybrid model, an SUV that looks otherworldly and can be optioned with a 1,000 hp Dodge Demon V8 for those seeking the ultimate in performance.
Given that the Rezvani Tank is actually based around the Jeep Wrangler, CarScoops understands that the available hybrid powertrain is identical to that of the popular Wrangler 4xe. This powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 270 hp, a 44 hp electric motor up front, and a 134 hp electric motor at the rear, all fed by a 17 kWh lithium-ion battery. It delivers a combined 375 hp and 470 lb-ft (639 Nm) of torque.

The owner of this new Rezvani Tank chose to have it finished in a shade of Silver Metallic Satin that complements the overt styling absolutely brilliantly. It is also fitted with a set of striking wheels with a black finish and mud-terrain tires that should make it feel at home in even the most difficult of conditions.
As for the interior, it retains many of the same features as any regular Jeep Wrangler but has been clad in new Nappa leather with a caramel finish.
While Rezvani hasn’t said exactly how much the owner of this Tank spent on the SUV, a look at the company’s online configurator reveals that prices for the Tank start at $175,000 and that the hybrid powertrain is an $8,500 option. While that may sound like a significant premium over the standard 3.6-liter V6 that comes with no extra charge, the hybrid powertrain is significantly cheaper than the 707 hp Hellcat engine that adds $75,000 to the price tag and the 1,000 hp Demon engine that costs $95,000.
