There are so many Ford Bronco restomods out there that those in the market for one have a seemingly endless number of them to choose from. However, this particular classic Bronco is one of the finest we’ve come across and Mecum Auctions is looking to sell it over the coming few days.
This Ford Bronco has been rebuilt by Legacy Speed and Body and no stone was left unturned in making it special. For starters, the exterior is finished in a shade of Diamond White Pearl Blue by House of Kolor that suits the off-roader absolutely perfectly. We’re particularly fond of the color-matched front grille with a blue ‘Ford’ badge.
Plenty of upgrades have also been made under the skin. For example, the Ford has a rebuilt Dana 30 front differential, a rebuilt Dana 20 transfer case, and a rebuilt Detroit soft locker 9-inch rear differential with 3.50 gears. It has also been equipped with High Pinion driveshafts and modernized with disc brakes at all four corners. It also sits on custom 17×9-inch U.S. Indy wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.
Then there’s the engine. Replacing the old engine is Ford’s beloved 5.0-liter naturally aspirated Coyote V8 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The ride height has also been increased by 3.5 inches thanks to a Wild Horse lift kit. There is also a custom hand-fabricated 2-into-1 exhaust.

The Bronco’s interior is also a real head-turner. The seats, center console, door panels, and the upper portion of the dashboard are bathed in bright blue leather. Legacy Speed and Body also fitted a new three-spoke steering wheel with a wooden rim. Mecum Auctions says the Bronco has been driven just 154 miles (248 km) since it was rebuilt.
If you had to choose between owning this Bronco restomod or a brand new Bronco Raptor, which would you choose?
