Customer deliveries of the VW ID. Buzz are well underway in Europe, which means that smaller tuners now have access to the EV. One of them is Motordrome Design from Greece, which is offering a series of aerodynamic components for the ID. Buzz for a sportier stance that doesn’t go over the top.
The kit, which is compatible with both the ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo, includes a pronounced splitter at the front, side skirts with small fins, a matching rear bumper extension, and a larger roof spoiler mounted on the stock unit. We doubt that the new parts will have a noticeable effect on the aerodynamics, which is probably a good thing since most EV buyers are not willing to compromise on range figures for style.

All of the components are made of high-quality ABS plastic using the process of thermoforming, while the gloss-black finish includes an anti-scratch film and UV protection. The plastic nature of the bodykit might not be as cool as carbon fiber, but makes it quite affordable. More specifically, MotorDrome Design asks €159 ($173) for each of the front splitter, side skirts, and rear bumper extension, plus €129 ($140) for the rear spoiler. This means that the whole package could be yours for €606 ($660).
This is not the first time we see visual upgrades for the ID. Buzz. Prior Design and Zyrus Engineering have already previewed their own bodykits that will be available later in 2023, although those will be certainly flashier and a lot more expensive.
Volkswagen has officially confirmed a performance-focused variant of the ID. Buzz for the future, as with the entire ID. family of electric models. However, until this one arrives, the minivan is exclusively available with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS), sourcing energy from a 77 kWh battery.
