F1’s 2023 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix is almost here and Carscoops has your ticket to the driver’s seat. We’ll be there throughout the weekend to gather as much cool automotive content as we possibly can. Here’s a preview of what we expect to do and a question for you.
Entering the fifth race of the 2023 F1 season, there are a number of interesting story-lines to follow. Red Bull has a commanding lead in the standings and its pair of drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are separated by just six points in the overall driver standings.
As we noted earlier this week, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc believes his team has “a lot of work to do” to keep up with Red Bull and Aston Martin heading into Miami. Despite that, he managed to pick up Ferrari’s first podium of the season with a third-place finish in Azerbaijan.

According to organizers, the track has been resurfaced in an effort to improve the event and more capacity has been added so that more fans can attend in person.
We’re going there thanks to the folks over at Pirelli who tell us that we’ll get the chance to experience hot laps at the Miami International Autodrome along with the perks that come with paddock club access. We’re also going to have some time to spend with Pirelli’s general manager of operations, Andrea Casaluci. If you have any questions you’d like us to ask him in regards to F1 tires, shoot away.
We’ll be in attendance all three days including practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday, and the race on Sunday. Miami is just the first of three races on the calendar in the USA this year with Austin, TX, and Las Vegas, NV to follow later in the season. Here’s to hoping that F1 hasn’t saved the best for last. With all of that in mind, what would you like to see and for us to check out from this weekend’s event?
