This is the VF F200 electric scooter from Yadea and while you wouldn’t be able to tell just from looking at it, it has actually been co-designed with Porsche.
Yadea is a Chinese brand and the F200 is designed to compete in the L3e category of the scooter market, the electric equivalent of the 125cc class. Driving the scooter is a temary lithium battery pack driving a single electric motor housed within a single unit with the controller and transmission.

The small electric motor is rated at 14.7 hp and while that isn’t much, it more than makes up for it with 165 lb-ft (235 Nm) of torque, more than double the torque of the all-conquering BMW S1000 RR supersport bike. This impressive torque figure means the F200 can rocket to 31 mph (50 km/h) in an impressive 2.5 seconds and tops out at 62 mph (100 km/h). While we don’t know how quickly it hits 62 mph, it’s probably faster than any 125cc gas-powered equivalent. The scooter can travel up to 80 miles (129 km) on a single charge.
While it is unclear how much of the scooter’s design has been brought to life thanks to the geniuses at Porsche, there’s no denying that it looks different than traditional scooters of this size. For example, it features intriguing LED daytime running lights on the lower portion of the fascia while then rocking a large main headlamp closer to the handlebars. Yadea has also equipped the F200 with a small wind deflector.
The shape of the side fairings and the seat also catch the eye but we think it is the complex LED lighting array at the rear that really sets the scooter apart from the crowd.
Yadea has not yet announced pricing for the F200 nor has it confirmed which markets it will be offered in.
