A pair of extensively modified Porsche Cayennes have popped up for sale on Bring a Trailer and either one could prove perfect for anyone brave enough to take a German SUV on a serious overlanding adventure.
The first of the pair takes the form of a 2009 Cayenne GTS available through Bring a Trailer. It immediately stands out from any other Cayenne you’re likely to see on the road thanks to the Martini livery that sits over the original Crystal Silver Metallic paint. Complementing the motorsport-inspired wrap are a host of important off-road-focused modifications.
For starters, the SUV is rocking a set of 18-inch OZ Racing-style wheels wrapped in 265/65 Toyo Open Country A/T tires. The factory suspension system has also been lifted and there are now mud flaps, a tubular front bumper, auxiliary lights, a front skid plate, and a roof rack with plenty of recovery gear as well as a spare wheel and tire.

While the exterior is adorned with plenty of aftermarket parts, the interior is largely stock and continues to sport black leather across the seats and dashboard. This being a Porsche Cayenne GTS, it is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 that produced 405 hp and 369 lb-ft (502 Nm) of torque when new. It has been driven around 121,000 miles (~194,000 km).
The second modified Cayenne is also available through Bring a Trailer. It is a 2008 Cayenne S model and benefits from a Eurowise 3-inch lift kit with Bilstein shock absorbers, high-clearance bumpers, 18-inch Sparco Terra wheels, and 32-inch Falken tires. Other changes made include a roof rack and a swing-away rear tire carrier. Ensuring the SUV can tackle even the harshest of terrain are Sparco 18-inch wheels wrapped in 275/65 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires.
Its interior is also bathed in leather but unlike the first Cayenne, it has a Sand Beige finish. Curiously, the Cayenne S has also been listed as having 121,000 miles on the clock (~194,000 km).
