Italian-American EV newbie Aehra has revealed its second car, and it’s every bit as striking as the SUV we were introduced to last year.
The company’s latest creation is a sedan, and that’s also how we’ll have to refer to it since Aehra has decided not to give names to any of its vehicles. Which is a shame, because the word ‘sedan’ still conjures up images of sensible, conservative three-box family cars when Aehra’s sedan is nothing like that.
A low-slung four-door coupe with aggressively sloped front and rear screens, the Porsche Taycan rival is as dramatic as some supercars, and might even be mistaken for one from certain angles, particularly if the falcon doors – a feature shared with the SUV – are raised. While the smooth upper body is free from any fussy detailing, the lower body is more complex and features multiple vents and aerodynamic aids that add muscularity to the design and presumably help keep the car planted at high speed.
Though there are clear similarities between the SUV and sedan, and both were dreamed up by former Lamborghini design boss Filippo Perini, there are sufficient styling differences to ensure that looking for the sedan’s lower roof height isn’t the only way you’ll be able to tell it from its more practical brother. The sedan’s nose, for instance, has a much larger lower air intake but lacks the slim horizontal intake between the headlights seen on the SUV.

Under the skin though, both cars are very similar, riding on the same bespoke EV platform, and while technical details are almost non-existent at this stage, Aehra has confirmed a 497-mile (800 km) range, suggesting that we should expect 120 kWh of battery capacity. We’ve previously reported that the SUV would be able to charge at up to 350 kW, and the sedan will also enjoy the same rate, making it among the very fastest-charging EVs.
Aehra didn’t reveal the sedan’s interior, but it’s not a stretch to presume it closely echoes the SUV’s, at least in terms of having a huge extendable infotainment system that reaches across the full width of the dashboard to turn the car into a movie theater on wheels.
As for prices and performance, Aehra isn’t saying, but since we know the SUV will cost around $160,000 when it arrives in 2025, the sedan coming the year after will be in a similar up-to-$200k ballpark, putting it right into Porsche Taycan Turbo S territory.
