The Fisker Ocean Extreme has been given an EPA estimated range of 360 miles (579 km) and the company is celebrating the better than expected number by pointing out the crossover has the “longest range of any new electric SUV under $200,000” in the United States.
The latter appears to be a reference to the 381 mile (613 km) FF 91, but it’s worth noting the 360 mile (579 km) range only applies to vehicles equipped with 20-inch wheels. As a result, if you opt for the larger 22-inchers, you can likely expect a lower range.

CEO Henrik Fisker said “A lot of hard work went into achieving these results, and it feels great to give our customers a better range than we had estimated.” He went on to say “delivering an EPA 360 mile range in the US and WLTP 707 km range in Europe gives our drivers what they want: a fantastic five-passenger vehicle, and the confidence they’re driving the electric SUV with the longest range available in an affordable new vehicle.”
U.S. deliveries will begin the week of June 19 and the company noted the crossover has received all the necessary approvals to allow for “sale and delivery in all 50 US states and the District of Columbia.” This is noteworthy as some EVs are only available in California and even Genesis EVs aren’t available nationwide.
As a refresher, the Ocean Extreme starts at $68,999 and has a 113 kWh battery pack that powers a dual motor all-wheel drive system. The latter develops up to 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS) and this enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.6 seconds.
