After years of neglect, Infiniti is showing signs of life as the company recently introduced a new logo, a minimalist dealership design, and a “multisensory experience” that includes a signature scent.
Of course, smells and showrooms should be the least of Infiniti’s concerns as the brand has an aging lineup. Thankfully, the company plans to address that as they used a dealer convention to tease a handful of upcoming vehicles.
According to Automotive News, Infiniti will introduce four new models by the end of 2027. These are said to include the redesigned QX80, a new QX65 crossover, and two EVs.

The redesigned QX80 will reportedly arrive next summer and cost more than $100,000. If that number pans out, it would be a huge jump as the current model begins at $72,700.
While the SUV is still a year out, it will reportedly have a bold design that combines a prominent grille with the “blocky proportions of a Range Rover.” The model is also said to have a classier cabin that resembles the Mercedes-Maybach GLS.
Highlights are said to include a 24-inch display, which presumably consists of a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system. The QX80 is also slated to have touchscreen climate controls and what sounds like a more spacious third-row. We can also expect ‘flagship worthy’ technology including sensors that detect your temperature and adjust the climate control system accordingly.
As expected, the V8 will be dropped and replaced by a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine. Little is known about it, but the mill will reportedly produce 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS).

Roughly a year later, in mid-2025, Infiniti will launch a new QX65. As the name suggests, the model will be based on the QX60 but adopt a crossover coupe design like the smaller QX55.
The two-row QX65 will feature a gas engine, although there’s no word on specifics at this point. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if it uses the QX60’s 3.5-liter V6, which packs 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque.
Two New EVs Including A Q70 Successor
Nissan was an early proponent of EVs, but Infiniti has been twiddling their thumbs while competitors introduce electric vehicles of their own. However, an Infiniti EV is coming and the company teased it last year.
Little is known about the vehicle at this point, but dealers told Automotive News it’s a “striking evolution” of the old Q70. The car is said to bare similarities to the Tesla Model S and be a “fastback-style sedan” with a Porsche-like rear end.
The car is slated to arrive in late 2026 and be followed by an electric crossover in mid-2027. The latter is said to resemble a futuristic QX50, although it doesn’t sound like the design has been finalized yet.
