The hottest hatch in Toyota’s lineup returns for the 2024 model year with an updated Circuit Edition. This GR Corolla comes with everything we loved about the 2023 car but with a few enhancements too. Here’s a breakdown of what customers and gamers can look forward to in the near future.
The Circuit Edition serves as a step up from the GR Corolla Core, the model’s base trim. For 2024 it comes with the same forged carbon fiber roof, large gloss black rear spoiler, and Torsen limited-slip differentials from last year. It also gets Brin Naub suede and faux leather-trimmed sport seats and a JBL premium audio sound system.

Exclusive changes for this 2024 model year include a new Blue Flame exterior paint color along with special blue interior accents. It’s also going to come with small tweaks to the front aeroduct and the chassis for better aerodynamics and handling. Toyota says that it’s changed the mounting bolts for the steering gear, the rear suspension, and the battery ground too.

New forged aluminum 18-inch wheels are similar to the ones that came on the super-hot MORIZO edition from 2023. Around those buyers will find Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Under the hood is the same three-cylinder turbocharged engine from last year. It continues to develop 300 hp (223 kW) and 273 lb-ft (369 Nm) of torque. That power is routed to all four wheels via a clever all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed manual transmission only.
Toyota says that the new GR Corolla Circuit Edition goes on sale this fall and that it’ll tell us more about pricing between now and then. It’ll only make 1,600 of them and there’s no final word on exactly how many more GR Corollas will be available.
Finally, Toyota confirmed that the GR Corolla is soon to be available to Gran Turismo players worldwide. They didn’t say exactly when we can expect to see the virtual car drop on the Playstation exclusive game but at least it won’t be limited to 1,600 units like the real one and dealers won’t have the chance to mark it up.
