One can buy quite the car for $150,000 and we’ve found a trio that should split opinion. Give that type of cash in your bank account which would you buy? A 2014 Dodge Viper, a 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T, or a 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon?

This trio of Mopar mavens comes to us from eBay and all three are in similarly excellent condition. In fact, the oldest of the bunch, a 1971 Challenger R/T, might be in the best condition as it’s had a full restoration. The listing says that it had a body-off rotisserie-style rebuild.

That’s quite an extensive job and it can be yours for $148,500 on eBay. It comes with a rebuilt 440-6 pack V8 with an automatic transmission. According to the seller, this is one of just 119 cars of its kind built in 1971. It’s certainly more unique than the plethora of modern Challengers one might see on the roads today.

One of those modern Challengers, a 2018 Demon is also available, this time for just a touch more at $150,000. It has just 1,920 miles (3,090 km) on the odometer and looks like it’s also in near-perfect condition. It comes with the original Demon crate, the original tires, and the original window sticker. It might not be an actual classic just yet but it’s certainly a future classic.

Finally, there’s a 2014 Viper looking to sink its fangs into a new owner for just $139,950. For that, one will get a car in rare (and value-holding) Race Yellow with just 1,939 miles (3,120 km). Under the hood is an 8.4-liter V10 that sends 640 hp (477 kW) through a manual transmission and the original Pirelli P-Zero tires to the ground.

All three of these cars are outstanding performance machines. Each one offers its own unique driving experience too. Which one is actually the best buy for this kind of cash? We’ll let you tell us in the comment section below.
