If you’re in the market for a used supercar and have a lot of money, but terrible credit, have we got an opportunity for you. The Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office is auctioning off a black-on-black 2013 Lamborghini Aventador on Wednesday, August 2.
The car was seized on July 12 and will be auctioned off in what the constable’s office describes as a “cash only” sale. Naturally, the Lamborghini is being offered in “as-is” condition, but it reportedly has a clear title, which is nice.
The car’s previous owner released it to a receivership to satisfy a writ of execution from a civil judgment, according to Precinct 5 Investigator Ashton Hedrick, who spoke to The Courier of Montgomery County. “It’s not a seize from, like, a drug dealer or anything like that,” he said.

Details surrounding the vehicle are pretty minimal, but as a 2013 model, this example came pretty early in the Aventador’s run, which lasted from 2011 to 2022. All were powered by a 6.5-liter V12, and power ranges from 690 hp (515 kW/700 PS) to 770 hp (575 kW/780 PS) for the final Ultimae edition.
While this doesn’t appear to be a special edition model, values for Aventadors remain quite high. A quick look at listings on Bring a Trailer reveals that early models like this one in good (but not exceptional) condition can sell for between $300,000 and $350,000.
I’m no cop, but anyone who can scrounge up that much cash on short notice seems like they might be at least a little suspicious – or just very, very rich. However, I expect that this model will sell for less than that, since the constable’s office staunchly refuses to offer financing terms.
If you’re interested in rolling the dice on this Lamborghini Aventador, you can attend the auction that is set to be held on August 2 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
