While the McLaren 600LT may not have been the same flagship as the 675LT and 765 LT were, it remains a seriously impressive supercar and a particularly gorgeous Spider variant has just hit the market.
This particular 600LT Spider is up for auction in Scottsdale, Arizona and originally left the factory in a silvery-blue color that McLaren has named Saros. However, it has since been wrapped in bright blue and has been outfitted with a set of 19-inch front and 20-inch rear Brixton forged wheels wrapped in 245/30 and 325/25 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires.
The Bring a Trailer listing notes that the 600LT Spider has also been fitted with McLaren’s Carbon Fiber Exterior Upgrade 1 and 2 packages that has seen carbon added to the front splitter and endplates, side air intakes, wing mirror casings, as well as the side skirts and the accompanying winglets. Some suspension components from Novitec have also been fitted.
Move to the interior and you will find a dashboard and seats clad in black leather and Alcantara in addition to a suite of carbon fiber accents, fitting for a lightweight car like this. The original owner opted for the available power-adjustable and heated seats with embossed McLaren logos on each headrest. There are also MSO Defined Indian Red seatbelts, a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, fire extinguisher, and dual-zone climate control.

Making the 600LT Spider such an impressive performer is its 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 upgraded to deliver 592 hp and 457 lb-ft (619 Nm) of torque. That power is routed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Not only does the 600LT have more power than the standard 570S but it also weighs 96 kg (212 lbs) less thanks to the more extensive use of carbon fiber.
