A few days ago, Mansory unveiled its over-the-top take on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Its creation is dubbed the P9LM EVO 900 and is one of the most extreme cars the tuner has ever created. This Mercedes-Benz S-Class from Mansory could not be any more different.
Whereas the P9LM EVO 900 is a truly insane creation focused on performance and maximum head-turning abilities, its latest take on the S-Class takes a much more subtle approach. It is so tame by Mansory standards that were it not for the company’s badges, one could easily be mistaken for thinking this was a new model launched by AMG.
Immediately catching the eye with this S 580 is the color. It comes from Mercedes-Benz’s Manufaktur department and is known as Kalahari Gold. From the factory, this color has a metallic finish but on this S-Class there is a satin finish, leading us to believe the car may have been wrapped in a clear film. Whatever the case may be, there’s no doubt that the paint is striking and suits an uber-luxurious car like the S-Class quite well.

Mansory then made a series of alterations to the car’s front fascia. These include the fitment of carbon fiber air intake shrouds and a new splitter with aerodynamic flics on the outer edges. It has also installed a new grille with a black finish. The carbon fiber accents continue down both sides of the S-Class with sharp elements on the front quarter panels and a pair of side skirt extensions. A set of gloss black 22-inch wheels have also been fitted as have carbon fiber wing mirror caps.
The rear of the Mercedes has also been altered but not in an overly flamboyant way. In fact, the only changes made include a new carbon fiber lip spoiler, a carbon fiber diffuser, new tailpipes, and Mansory badges.
