MG has used the Goodwood Festival of Speed to introduce the new Cyberster, MG4 XPower, and EX4 concept.
While the Cyberster was the undisputed star, the company remained tight-lipped about the model. However, SAIC Motor said the roadster will be launched in China before arriving in international markets next year.
Documents have suggested the entry-level model will have a rear-mounted electric motor developing 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS). We can also expect an all-wheel drive variant with a combined output of 537 hp (400 kW / 544 PS). The Cyberster could also be offered with 64 and 77 kWh battery packs that deliver ranges of between 311 and 360 miles (501 and 580 km).

MG didn’t have much to say about the EX4 concept either, but it’s based on the MG4 XPower and was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Metro 6R4. As a result, it has been equipped with a sizeable front spoiler, extended fenders, and aggressive side skirts. The concept also sports an eye-catching livery, a massive rear wing, and a large diffuser. They’re joined by a quick release hood, a roll cage, and wheel covers.
While the automaker was coy on specifics, they said the concept is “underpinned by the MG4 XPower’s extremely powerful electric drivetrain.” As a result, it likely has a dual-motor all-wheel drive system developing 429 hp (320 kW / 435 PS) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. This enables the road-going model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds.
