Chevrolet doesn’t have a direct rival to the Ford F-150 Raptor R and Ram 1500 TRX so a tuner by the name of PaxPower has taken it upon itself to create the ultimate version of the Silverado ZR2 that’s capable of battling it out with the Ford and Ram.
The company’s upgrades for the Silverado ZR2 are all-encompassing and start with the bodywork that now features flared arches that are 4 inches wider than the standard ones. PaxPower has then turned its attention to the truck’s suspension package, installing longer steel upper- and lower-control arms and lifting it up 2 inches over stock. The suspension changes give the modified ZR2, dubbed the Jackal, some 12 inches of front travel and an unspecified amount of additional rear suspension travel.
All Jackal models produced by PaxPower are completed with a set of 17-inch off-road wheels with 35×12.5 and 37×12.5-inch tires.

Then we get to the engine. PaxPower’s standard package takes the Silverado ZR2’s and pairs it with a dual exhaust system from Borla. For owners wanting a little more, the 6.2-liter V8 can be topped with a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger running 6 psi of boost and increasing grunt from the standard 420 hp to 650 horses. Torque also jumps from 460 lb-ft (610 Nm) to 650 lb-ft (881 Nm). Owners won’t have to worry about the supercharger going boom either as it comes with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty.
Pricing for the standard Jackal package with all the visual updates, new off-road components, and Borla exhaust costs $19,950 while the supercharger upgrade adds an additional $15,450. Given that it’s possible to find Chevy Silverado ZR2s for less than $70,000, this means the fully-upgraded Jackal will set back shoppers around $105,000.
