The Ferrari Monza SP2 is one of the most beautiful, expensive, and rare vehicles introduced by the Italian marque in recent years. Despite this, a skateboarder by the name of Tyshawn Jones has shown that with a little commitment, it’s possible to do an ollie of the supercar.
This clip has been doing the rounds on social media over the past couple of days after recently being filmed in New York. It appears the Monza SP2 featured in the video is owned by Steven Victor, a record executive and music publisher.
Fortunately for Victor, Jones was able to flawlessly perform an ollie over the Monza SP2 in the middle of a New York street. Had something gone wrong and either he or his skateboard had hit the bodywork of the Monza SP2, we’re sure the repair bill would have been pretty hefty. Is there any reason other than chasing views in doing a stunt like this? Probably not but it certainly makes for entertaining viewing.

This Monza SP2 is a particularly gorgeous example. It is painted primarily in a stunning shade of metallic white that is contrasted with a blue stripe running horizontally across the hood and blue buttresses behind the headrests. When it was first introduced, the Monza SP2 carried a starting price of just under $2 million. Prices have increased over the past couple of years but it’s probably not worth $5 million like the skateboarder suggests in his video.
Of course, it’s not just the beautiful bodywork and sexy shape of the Monza SP2 that makes it desirable. Found beneath the skin is a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with 799 hp and 530 lb-ft (719 Nm) of torque. This gives the rare Ferrari enough grunt to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds while speeding through to a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
