Fisker published more photos and details about the upcoming Alaska pickup, following its debut at the Product Vision Day event in California on August 3. The “world’s most sustainable pickup” promises an electric range of up to 340 miles, an expandable rear bed, and sporty driving dynamics. The upcoming Fisker truck will launch with a targeted starting price of $45,400 before incentives when it enters production in the first quarter of 2025.
The electric pickup measures 17.4 feet (208.8 inches / 5,304 mm) long, which makes it shorter than midsize trucks like the Toyota Tacoma and the Ford Ranger, and over 23 inches (584 mm) shorter than full-size EV trucks including the Tesla Cybertruck and the Ford F-150 Lightning. The alloy wheels measuring between 20- and 22-inches, enhance the sporty proportions of the truck in combination with the sleek roofline, the slim LED lighting units, and the high beltline.

According to Henrik Fisker, Chairman and CEO of the company, the Alaska “doesn’t fit into any current segment as it combines features of a mid-size pickup with the capabilities of a full-size” due to the “innovative” expandable bed. The cargo area can grow from the standard length of 4.5 feet (1,372 mm) to 7.5 feet (2,286 mm) using the “Houdini” disappearing partition behind the rear seats, or grow further to a maximum of 9.2 feet (2,804) by dropping the power liftgate. Additionally, there will be an extra “insulated” storage compartment in the front, and roof rails for those in need of more space.
The official interior photos reveal a large infotainment touchscreen in portrait orientation ahead of a huge “gulp cupholder” on the center console and next to an extendable passenger tray hiding under the modern dashboard. The seats feature suede-style inserts and have pouches on their backs, joined by a “cowboy hat holder” on the roof above the rear bench and storage for “flashlights and pens” under the center armrest.
The pickup is based on a stretched version of the Fisker Ocean’s underpinnings, promising to combine “sporty handling and driving dynamics” with “luxury SUV comfort” and everything that customers expect from a pickup. The EV will be available with two different battery packs, with a capacity of 75 kWh and 113 kWh, offering a driving range between 230-340 miles (370-547 miles) between charges. Fisker didn’t detail the electric motors but said that the Alaska will complete the 0-60 mph (97 km/h) sprint between 3,9 and 7,2 seconds, depending on the variant. The company also claims that the Alaska will be the “world’s lightest electric pickup” although it doesn’t mention the target weight figure.
The Fisker Alaska will be produced in the United States, starting from Q1 2025, with deliveries expected to commence within the same year. The advertised starting price of $45,400 doesn’t include any of the eligible incentives. Fisker is already accepting pre-orders, with a $250 deposit for the first unit and a refundable $100 deposit for the second.
