In case the enormous number of teasers didn’t tip you off already, Monterey Car Week is coming up, and Lexus wants to get in on the action. The Japanese premium brand is bringing a collection of recently unveiled models and a concept to the event’s freshly cut lawns.
The brand plans to have a full display at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, which takes place on August 18. There, it will show off the RZ Sport Concept for the first time in the U.S. The model made its debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon earlier this year and is based on the RZ 450e.
The all-electric performance SUV was created under the watchful eye of racecar driver Masahiro Sasaki and is powered by twin 201 hp (150 kW/204 PS) electric motors at the front and rear. As you can see, it also benefits from a number of modifications, such as fender flares, 21-inch Volk Racing wheels, two carbon fiber spoilers, and more. It will be shown next to the 2024 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series.

In addition, Lexus will continue its rich tradition at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary as the event’s sponsor, the brand will show off the 2024 GX and the 2024 TX at the Pebble Beach Golf Links.
The 2024 GX features a lovely boxy design and boasts a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. With oodles of ground clearance, power, and a fine array of driving modes, the new off-roader should be able to tackle most trails.
Meanwhile, the TX offers three rows of seating, sleeker design, and more road-focused driving dynamics. Designed specifically for the North American market, it is also available with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain to help it sip fuel instead of downing it.
In concert with its display, the brand will also be offering guests the opportunity to get behind the wheel of its cars through the Lexus Drive Experience on August 17. Visitors will be able to choose from the LC 500 Convertible, IS 500, RZ 450e, NX 350h, LX 600, or LS 500h, and will be able to take them for a 20-minute drive through the scenic Pebble Beach Resort. All this and much more will be available at Monterey Car Week.
